I'm confused, why aren't henchmen viable? They seem to work.

Actually, last night I finally put healing seed into my tray. We went on a mission with one warrior. It went so well after the first few battles, I told him that whenever he sees it up on him, to just ****ing go nuts. Worked out well. I threw healing seed on him and vigorous spirit, and he was happy slashing and hacking. I didn't have to heal him at all.

Someone said something about how they like how they saw people helping other people out...well wait until you get to the desert because it is nothing but three towns filled with lazy Monks that rarely party up, and when they do...they dont heal or whatever.

ALL OF YOU DESERVE TO NOT HAVE MONKS ON YOUR PARTY!!!!
I'm currently a lvl 11 monk, and I can tell you how people treat low level monks.
People KICK you out of party, just because your level is low, even for monks. And when you're doing quest, they just leave because they completed their own goal.
You all selfish people don't deserve all the free healings.

Monk's aren't that crucial for Thirsty River IMO. What is crucial is a domination mesmer or a meteor elementalist, or preferably both. The entire mission's a breeze except for the priest boss...ugh...just need to bring some anti priest spells and you're good.

OMIGODZZZ I laughed real hard when i read this thread.
It's funny to hear other classes complaining about monks, but rarely do you ever hear of a monk complaining about other classes. Yeah, I get pissed off when i join a random group and it's "GOGOGOGOGOGO!!!" til every last bit of energy is wasted. So When I tell people my energy levels, it's still "GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO!!!" and we get creamed and people blame me. Well if some of you guys used the powers you have to actually SUPPORT other players instead of being a bunch of idiots who only bring offensive powers, maybe monks or even other people would join groups more readily. What I mean by support skills I am talking about some of those nifty energy gaining buffs that I never ever see in groups. Necro's have a real nice skill and if I could use it on myself, I would bring it. I can't remember the name, but it helps with energy gains.
Also when people spam me with group invites, I always look at your names and who you are with. If your name has anything remotely to do with bodily functions, bodily fluids, sexual innuendos or anything remotely sophmoric... I WILL NOT GROUP WITH YOU.

Coming from a Monk, you are absolutely correct! This mission is not really that difficult. It's the way you play the map, not how the map plays you!

This thread is little more than a poorly veiled rant, and that's not what the boards are for. Expressing your frustration is fine, if you do so politely, ask for feedback, or the thread is constructive. This thread, by contrast, is destructive; It only insults and incites those who read it. If you have a question or a topic to discuss, please feel free to contribute with an articulate post; Otherwise, find another place to do your venting/ranting.
